Fo Guang University and Uni-Info Co., Ltd. Sign Industry-Academia Cooperation Agreement to Advance AI Applications
To promote industry-academia collaboration and drive AI technology applications, Fo Guang University and Uni-Info Co., Ltd. signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement today (13th) at the university president's office. The signing ceremony was led by Chen Chi-Yuan, Director of the Library and Information Office at Fo Guang University, and Hsieh Liang-Cheng, General Manager of Uni-Info Co., Ltd., with Fo Guang University President Chao Han-Chieh serving as a witness. This partnership aims to jointly develop a smart campus, enhance educational and administrative efficiency, and create mutually beneficial opportunities for both academia and industry.
According to the agreement, Uni-Info will provide customized AI smart service robot solutions to enhance the automation of Fo Guang University’s website services and assist in integrating AI technology to improve administrative efficiency. Additionally, both parties will engage in technology exchanges and personnel visits to explore the broader applications of smart technology in education, fostering further collaboration opportunities.
President Chao Han-Chieh stated that this partnership with Uni-Info will allow the university to be directly involved in the development and implementation of AI smart robots on campus, ensuring that research and technology align with practical needs. This initiative will accelerate AI adoption in education and industry while enhancing digital service experiences for faculty and students.
Uni-Info highlighted that smart robotics technology is rapidly advancing worldwide. The company is excited to introduce its Lumine AI technology to Fo Guang University, co-developing innovative AI campus services and providing more intelligent and efficient solutions for both the academic and industrial sectors.
