FGU Promotes its Achievement on Marketing "Toucheng City"
In order to revitalize the economic development of the Toucheng City, Foguang University launched the marketing plan for the “Toucheng City Festival”, which was jointly organized by the Department of Public Affairs, the Department of Communication, the Department of Management and the Department of Applied Economics. A few days ago, Foguang University held a special "Event for University Social Responsibility Project Achievement Sharing " to share the marketing results of the Toucheng City Festival and creation with the theme of "talking about the life of incense and passing the generations and letting the world see the city". Dr. Yang Chaoxiang, president of Foguang University, Huang Zhian, Chairman of Chengdong Community Development Association, LaoRenjue Team, Peng Renhong, founder of Golden Fish Neigbors, and many local residents in the city attended the event and shared their care for the development of the city.
During the meeting, Guo Guanting, the R&D director of the University, Prof. Wang Qimin of the Department of Communication, Prof. Lu Junji and Prof. Qu Jingfang of the Department of Management, went on stage to share the plan for the marketing of the city. Prof. Guo Guanting specializes in leading students in the courses of "political marketing", "public relations practice" and "media and political communication" to jointly plan this marketing topic, from event planning and marketing design to news interviews, to help the city to promote local creation. Begin with the efforts made by Foguan University, hopefully it would build a good foundation for city marketing.
Prof. Wang Qimin uses the elements of "culture" and "creative" to let students find the unique local humanities and customs of the city by observing the experience. At the same time, they shoot images and write texts, and describe the city in a sensible graphic cool card form, tell story and show the beauty of the city to bring new creativity and vitality to the city.
Prof. Lu Junji from the perspective of "Management Practices" to implement the marketing plan. He guided students to strengthen product, marketing, management, marketing planning, operational model capabilities, and enhance the market competitiveness of the city's cultural and creative products. Through the "Design Thinking" course, through the channel and market strategy, students can think out-of-box and understand industry, application, design, management and implementation, and look forward to achieving a win-win result from the roots of the academic community and the industry.
Prof. Qu Jingfang and Prof. Li Qiaoming from the Department of Applied Economics jointly developed the“Touring Design”, which uses different majors to guide students to explore the special activities and tradition of the city. Design and cooperate with the Youth Creativity Group as well to demonstrate the core values of "Linking Local" and "Cultivating Talents", and hopely will help to root Pioneering Plan in the City.
President Yang Chaoxiang said that Master Hsin Yun has been paying close attention to the development of Yilan.
