The latest 2025 AD Scientific Index has been released! Fo Guang University has achieved remarkable results in scientific research, with its professors making significant contributions. According to the AD Scientific Index, Fo Guang University’s latest H-Index ranking in 2025 places it among the top 40% of comprehensive universities in Taiwan, marking a 10% improvement from last year. Additionally, the university’s citation count ranks among the top 30% nationwide, showcasing its strong academic capabilities and research impact.
Fo Guang University continues to excel in academic research. The top five leading scientists at the university include President Chao Han-Chieh, specializing in electrical engineering; Vice President Ma Yuan-Rong, an expert in nanoscience and nanotechnology; Library and Information Director Chen Chi-Yuan, specializing in computer science; Professor Chou Wei-Lun, Chair of the Department of Psychology, focusing on psychology and neuroscience; and Professor Huang Chih-Wei from the Department of Psychology, whose research spans medical and health sciences as well as neuroscience. These achievements reflect the faculty's dedication to research and highlight the university's commitment to academic excellence.
